RAN

We have now entered the 4th day of the Rolex Middle Sea race 2012 on-board Rán II. We have now completed nearly 75 hours at sea. We still see Pantelleria, the island west to Sicily. But just about. We are now in the stretch going onto south east towards the island of Lampadusa. On the map we are close to the north African coast, to Tunisia, although we will not see it, some 60 miles away maybe from Lampadusa island? The sea state is calm, no rain still, sun behind the clouds, sailing 11 knots of boat speed, lunch been served on deck, happy souls!
