Fighting for a Friday finish! – exhausting days in the north of Sicily. Yesterday we lost our electronics due to a cable burn. Luckily we managed to get it fixed working on it all day. This meant both having to stay awake. Sleep deprived we managed to paint some funny features on the tracker the night after. Today things were more fun, life changed from hunting every little wind field to some slow running, a short reach into a lull into upwind into another reach into the last upwind towards Egadi Islands before the final beat back south – a total of 10 sail changes today, keeping the wardrobe well used – fighting to keep in touch with the “larger” boats. Routing for a Friday finish is looking so-so at the moment. Hope the high pressure stays to the east of Malta 🤞🏻 Best wishes from Atlas
