On board Comanche. Everyone is safe. Big waves and gusting 35kn. Teddy is safe inside as we didn’t find a small life jacket for him. Went under pantelleria to take a reef. Now all set and off again.

Hello Malta !
Calm night with spinnaker up almost all time, we are now in very light breeze this early morning. Took this opportunity to enjoy toast and egg breakfast on deck 👍👌
Very difficult to catch up on Rossko 😡😡😡 They are sailing very nicely , with smooth routes.
We are now at mid race in terms of nautical miles , the better is ahead of us and we start to dream of a nice shower and steaks / french fries !

Bye bye Messina straight and hazardous winds…. we exited early this morning one nautical mile after Rossko and we are chasing them for 1st ranking in IRC6. Heading to Stromboli which we will round in about two hours.
Pierre Quiroga (MACIF Figaro 3 Skipper) our navigator for the race , is struggling on ADRENA, our navigation software, to design the strategy for the north Sicily leg, not easy with the forecasted very large calm area !
