We have just rounded Lampedusa, and are now on the home straight to Malta and that big juicy steak and fries I’ve been promising myself.
What a beat, it took a long time but we had a great time playing the shifts in company of many of our competitors. We’ve not had much sleep as it was shifty which needed full attention.
Our bums are raw and our backs are sore but we are keeping the fire fully lit all the way to that first cold beer in the bar. Or in my case a diet coke with lots of ice, no slice 😉
